The Watercolors Have Arrived
Early this evening my new watercolors and watercolor paper pads arrived. I am so excited! I haven’t done watercolor since 1976 or maybe a year or two later. I haven’t tried them out yet. My brush set comes tomorrow. There is an included water pen. It has a brush tip. You fill it with water, and then you can use water from the pen to mix your colors without needing a separate glass of water. This tool makes this set very handy for travel. I will probably continue to use my regular brushes along with a cup of water since it is what I am used to. I’ll wait to try them when Guy is not around since he thinks I am only “playing” when I work on art. Photos of my new paints and paper are below.
